Update 3/19/00... Results from the Ninth Annual Leonard Weddle

Western Colorado finally has a great place to play table tennis! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7:00 PM till 10:00 PM at the brand new KidzPlex facility in Grand Junction. We have 4 tables set up, in a terrific room. It has good lighting, lots of space around each table, and a carpeted floor.

Players of all skill levels, from beginners to USATT members, are welcome. We will do our best to match players with others of comparable skill. We will also try to have both singles matches and doubles matches going all of the time.

Prices are very reasonable:

• $3.00 per individual for the night (7 - 10 PM)

• $5.00 per family for one night

• $30.00 per individual for a six month membership

• $50.00 per family for six month membership

We also have our own table tennis coach, Tao Thongvanh. Tao played professionally in France, he's a great coach, and a really nice guy. Group lessons are on Tuesdays starting at 7:00, and cost $20 for 4 weeks. Private lessons are also available on Tuesdays after 8:00, and sometimes on Thursdays.

Grand Mesa Table Tennis (GMTT) is a not for profit club for anyone who wants to play table tennis. We are also sponsoring The Ninth Annual Leonard Weddle Table Tennis Tournament at the Lincoln Park Barn on March 18, 2000. This event provides us an opportunity to play some exciting table tennis, both for fun, and to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Check back later for more information on this year's tournament.

The fun with GMTT has only just begun at Kidzplex. We hope to organize some league play, lessons, and perhaps a ratings system at some time in the future. Come help us find more ways to enjoy and promote the sport of table tennis!
